These photographs were created spontaneously in 2014, I visited the exhibition ‘’Irgendetwas im Raum entzieht
sich unseren Versuchen des Überfliegens’’ at the Würtembergische Kunstverein where there was an installation of Bill Spinhoven van Oostens.

The title of the exhibition translates in English as “Something in space eludes our attempts to fly over it” and is
borrowed from the French philosopher and theorist of perception Maurice Merleau-Ponty.
